When the 2019 NFL season started it was one of excitement, anticipation, and cautious optimism for all 32 NFL teams. As an Indianapolis Colts fan, we fell into the cautious optimism category. The Colts were going in to 2019 with an MVP Quarterback in Andrew Luck, a revamped offensive line, a stacked receiving core and some darn good running backs. Then the injury bug bit the Colts, at first it was just a small bite but it quickly spread and everything became gangerous.

The most shocking thing to happen, was Andrew Luck all of a sudden retired and left the Colts in the hands of Jacoby Brissett. All of a sudden one of the Vegas front runners for a Super Bowl appearance dropped and they dropped hard. So you may be asking yourself what is this guy getting to?

Betting, ladies and gentlemen. At the start of the season these would have been my picks for Super Bowl odds.

AFC: Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs came into the season absolutely stacked with talent, and I think 2019 was the year they beat the Evil Empire New England Patriots.

NFC: New Orleans Saints. The Saints have a perennial All-Star in Drew Brees and an explosive offense, their defense is pretty good as well.

Long Shot: Buffalo Bills. Hey 4 straight trips to the Super Bowl and no wins? They are finally due.

We are 13 weeks in the 2019 season and some things have changed. No Longer do I think the Chiefs are the favorite in the AFC, I believe the Baltimore Ravens are now the AFC representatives, heck I even think that’s your Super Bowl Champ. The Saints still have a slight edge (+500)in this sites opinion, but the 49ers have been absolutely dominating.

Do you have a prediction? Who do you think will take home the Lombardi trophy? Make your selections, then tune in on February 2nd!
